In February I flew to Washington to shoot a wedding with a friend of mine. I was dying to shoot on a ferry while I was there. I mean just look at this ferry, completely obsessed. When Anna reached out that her and Alex where available I couldn’t believe it.

I met Anna and Alex for the first time just before the ferry took off. We immediately became best friends. I had never been to Whidbey Island before and had no idea what to expect but instantly fell in love and it quickly became one of my favorite places. We found this beautiful secluded beach where they proceeded to have a rock kipping contest. I’ll let you guess who won.

We spent the rest of the evening at a charming little bar and grill laughing and sharing our love for our cats! The following Monday, they invited me back to the island to visit their charming home tucked away in the forest. I’ve never become friends so. quickly in life and I’m so excited to go back and visit them and their fur babies.
